Installation of UNIO on Linux

Unio is compiled for all commonly used popular Linux distributions that meet the following minimal system requirements:

  • The 'ksh'-shell is installed under the path /bin/ksh.
  • True colour display (16-bit or 32-bit depth).
  • Linux kernel version 2.4 or above.
  • Glibc 2.2.4 or above
  • X11R5 or above
  • Processor type: i386, i686, x86_64.
  • Minimal available disk space: 55 MB or more.
Important: Your Linux distribution must support true colour 32-bit depth display. We are currently working on a solution so that UNIO will also run on Linux distributions that provide true colour 64-bit depth display only.
