Installation of UNIO on MacOSX

As Apple 'sandboxing' security feature for preventing malware installation, all software downloaded from the internet without official Apple developer signature are 'secured' in a 'disk image' on your Mac computer. This Apple security feature prevents UNIO to start up correctly ("Warning message: Incomplete UNIO installation").

In order to make UNIO working nonetheless on your Mac computer, follow the temporary work-around listed below (until we will have re-solved this issue):

  • Download UNIO to another computer (Linux or Mac).
  • Transfer the downloaded UNIO archive (tar file) to your Mac computer on which you like to operate UNIO, either via USB stick or the shell command 'scp' or by other means.
The UNIO software should then work as properly as you are used to.
